Hi and welcome to darkstar home bakery and this is just a recap of the past couple of months here at the bakery and we have had a slow start but that is not all that bad, I have had time to adjust to new flour and work on scaling my cookie recipes instead of guessing the amount of sugar that goes into it and the bright spots are the weekly bake sales here at my home address and the little cookie showcase that I have at my mom's Catholic Book Store.
Every Saturday starting at 8am and ending around 2 pm and I stay up all night Friday into Saturday baking and I usually have a few items that I make every week and a few Items that I mix up every week and I have to say that the Bake Sales are off to a good start. This makes me Happy because I usually have amazon orders coming in all week and then I have to go to Restaurant Depot to buy flour and butter and a couple of other stores to round out the shopping so that I have all my ingredients.
So that I have to say that I am happy thus far with my little business and also I just filed taxes in April for two months worth of sales. Thanks for everyone's support and I am hoping to have a good summer for 2025.
